My journey as a photographer began years ago with the desire to capture moments too beautiful to forget.
For my first trip to Europe, I bought a top-of-the-line
Canon camera. On the flight from New York to my first stop in Ireland, I read the entire manual, so that when I arrived, I would know the technical ins and outs of my equipment. The next two months were filled with adventure, photographing the Irish countryside, roaming through France, Germany, and Belgium. The trip was magic; all captured with a camera.
The most important thing I learned from that trip was that experience and an eye for composition and detail makes the best photographer.
Next came art shows, retail prints, and returning to Ireland every year for more photos. After a few years honing my craft I was asked by someone to photograph their daughter's wedding. I had spent years taking thousands of personal photos, so I knew how I needed to approach this event. I photographed it how I felt I would want my daughter's wedding done. That was over 1100 weddings ago and each one still gets my same personal attention. My passion with the camera continues to evolve to include other subjects but the sentiment and commitment remains the same. Do the best work possible with the least amount of stress to everyone involved.
I spend a lot of time behind the camera because I hate being in front of it. I totally sympathize with those who dislike getting their picture taken and because of that I have a unique ability to make everyone feel comfortable. I do my best to work quickly, efficiently, and without making anyone feel uneasy.
My love of travel and working all over the United States has made it easy for me to handle complex logistics, moving equipment and team members without issue. I have received White House and Capitol Building clearance and have experience working with diverse, high profile, clients, and Non-Disclosure agreements. I also have extensive 501C3 experience volunteering with the Marfan Foundation, traveling wherever they need me.
Life is good! Whether I’m bouncing between Nashville or Cape May, I have my love of good coffee, a couple of cats to keep me company, and my wonderful girlfriend who keeps me focused. I’m looking forward to trips to Paris, Australia, Disneyworld, and wherever someone needs my camera to point.

My grand adventure began many years ago when I received a Little yellow box with a Kodak camera inside. The feel of the camera and the scent of the film had me intrigued.

Growing up I always loved taking pictures, being dubbed the family’s photographer around 10 years old to walk around and “make sure to get everyone’s picture!” every year at family parties. Soon, I was off to college, spending countless hours in the darkroom & computer lab editing photos: to say photography has been a huge part of my life would be an understatement. I love capturing natural, fun, and candid moments that tell a story- whether it’s a groom looking at his soon-to-be wife walk down the aisle or the look an older brother has as he’s holding his new little sister. Fleeting, sweet moments are the best ones to capture.
