Back in New Orleans! April 2014

This lady is an amazing Clarinet player. She plays on the street with her band for tips and we see her every trip to NOLA.

The start of one of the Easter parades on Bourbon Street.

One second before he cursed at me for taking his picture. You need a tough skin for this job.

A portrait of my friend Ruppert Kohlmaier in the Garden District. He is one of the finest hand crafted furniture makers still alive in the United States. A real national treasure. Everytime I visit it's like going to the best school in the world to learn furniture styles and building techniques. The added bonus is we also hit the Rum House everyday for lunch (The best tacos and plantains ever!).

Actor Nicholas Cage's pre-built tomb in the St. Louis #1 cemetery down town. This place is right next to what was the old Storyville section of town (think of Louis Malle's "Pretty Baby" featuring Brook Shields).

Another of my favorite places to eat, Bud's Broilers! A great flame broiled cheese burger with the works for $3.85. Where ever I travel I always look out for famous (and good) places to eat. This joint is right near City Park so after I finished my photo session it was Bud's for dinner time!

This photo was from an earlier trip back in November 2013. A quiet moment during the rehersal dinner.

Ralph's, across from City Park. Spectacular place!

November 2013 wedding at Le Pavillon, it doesn't get much nicer than this place! The managers name was Gerald Joyce (no relation).

November 2013. Just loved the look on the face of the groom!

November 2013. Le Pavillon on a cold rainy night. One of New Orleans best!

Some photos while working in New Orleans from last year.
